Leicestershire photographer John Kennedy
My photography started commercially in a print repro department, using a commercial Eskofot studio camera, hand developing negative roll film, producing contact sheets, negatives, client proofs, and printing plates. The Eskofot was a huge floor standing camera and definitely not one for hanging around your neck.
Today I use Nikon equipment to capture my images and process to a very high industry standard digital workflow.
My work covers Automotive, Editorial, Landscapes, Natural History, Country life, Portraits, Commercial projects, Corporate, Architectural, and Press Photography. My work has been published in Books, Magazines, Newspapers, Brochures, and advertising campaigns, and also printed on Clothing, Calendars, and Jigsaws.
Commercially my photography services have been used by a very varied selection of businesses, from Footwear to Food, Newspapers to Magazines, Printers, Breweries, Estate agents, County Councils, Tourism, Pharmaceutical, Interior design agencies, and many others.
I do as little as possible to the images during processing, a curve adjustment and sometimes a slight colour boost is as much as I like to do. I’d rather be out shooting than being stuck in front of a screen.
Some of my stock work is available through Loop images.
Image licensing – If you would like to license my images directly, under the RM model (rights managed), please contact me for licensing details.
I’m available for commission work worldwide. If you wish to discuss a commission or future project please contact me, business or private commissions are very welcome.
